UNLOCK YOUR FUTURE IN TECHNOLOGY— Expressive Type Poster
Tasked with creating an expressive, all live-type poster for the Computer Information Technology Department at TMCC. The challenge was to capture the energy, innovation, and complexity of the tech world using only typography — without any images or illustrations. I used dynamic layouts, varied font sizes, layering, and movement within the text to create a sense of constant motion and technological growth. Every element was built using live, editable type to maintain flexibility and precision.
The poster design relies solely on expressive layout, repetition, and movement to create visual energy, using only live, unaltered type. TMCC’s signature green is incorporated strategically to reinforce the school’s identity and highlight key information. The design uses rhythm, density, and open space to guide the viewer’s eye across the poster, evoking the flow of information and the interconnected world of technology.
