BARK BARK— Graphic T-shirt Design
Tasked with designing a two-color T-shirt graphic that stays visually impactful with limited ink usage. Inspired by underground punk rock posters, vintage tattoo flash, and aggressive band merch, I created a distressed, high-contrast design featuring a snarling dog with jagged text. The stark red and white inks were chosen intentionally to create maximum impact on a black shirt.
The exaggerated, angular illustration style and layering of the red and white create strong visual depth without needing additional colors. This approach ensures the design is print-efficient, high-contrast for instant recognition, and perfectly fits the gritty, rebellious tone of the intended brand and audience.
